Instructions for Making Beaded Star-Shaped Necklace
BEADED STAR-SHAPED NECKLACE |
YOU WILL NEED: A cutter, a round-nosed plier, color-coated tigertail wire, a clasp, link chain, 4 posts, 3 jump rings, 6 crimp beads, 7 x 3-holed spacer bars, 90 x 3mm round glass fire polish beads, 84 x 5mm round fire polish glass beads, 78 x 6mm round fire polish glass beads, 3 x 8mm round fire polish glass beads, 1 x 16mm round crystal fire polish glass bead. |
Cut three pieces of wire of approximately 20 inches each. |

WIRE 1: Thread the wire through the bottom hole of the 3-holed spacer bar. Thread a crimp bead onto the wire. Thread the wire back through the crimp bead leaving a loop. Squeeze the crimp bead close to the 3-holed spacer bar. |

WIRE 2: Thread the wire through the middle hole of the 3-holed spacer bar. Thread a crimp bead onto the wire. Squeeze the crimp bead close to the 3-holed spacer bar. |

WIRE 3: Thread the wire through the top hole of the 3-holed spacer bar. Thread a crimp bead onto the wire. Squeeze the crimp bead close to the 3-holed spacer bar. |

WIRE 1: Thread 15 x 3mm fire polish glass beads. |

|
WIRE 2: Thread 14 x 5mm fire polish glass beads. |
WIRE 3: Thread 13 x 6mm fire polish glass beads. |

Thread a 3-holed spacer bar. |
|
Repeat these steps five more times. |

With the remaining wires, follow numbers 2 and 3. Cut off the excess wire. |

Thread a 16mm crystal fire polish glass bead onto a post. Fold the post on both sides of the bead. |

Repeat these steps with 2 more 8mm fire polish glass beads. |
Attach one side of the 2 x 8mm fire polish glass beads to the loops made in the wire in number 2. Attach a jump ring to the other sides. |

Attach a clasp to one of the jump rings. Attach link chain to the other jump ring. If you want, you can attach a fire polish glass bead to the end of the link chain for decoration. |
|
Attach a jump ring to the 3-holed spacer bar at the center of the necklace. Attach the 16mm crystal fire polish glass bead as a pendant. |
