Instructions for Making Beaded Six-String Braided Bracelet
BEADED SIX-STRING BRAIDED BRACELET |
YOU WILL NEED: A cutter, a plier, color-coated tigertail wire, a toggle clasp, 8 crimp beads, 2 jump rings, 2 x 4-holed spreaders, 4 x 4-holed spacer bars, 40 x 6mm black round fire polish glass beads, 75 x 3mm purple round fire polish glass beads, 75 x 3mm black round fire polish glass beads. |
Cut 6 pieces of wire of approximately 12 inches each. |

Thread a crimp bead onto one piece of wire. Thread the wire through the bottom hole of the 4-holed spreader. Thread the wire back into the crimp bead. Squeeze the crimp bead close to the end spacer bar. Cut off the excess wire. |

Repeat these steps with two more pieces of wire, into the third hole of the spreader. |

Repeat these steps with two more pieces of wire, into the second hole of the spreader. |

Repeat these steps with the last piece of wire, into the top hole of the spreader. |

Thread the wires as follows: WIRE 1: 1 x 6mm bead. WIRES 2 and 3 together: 1 x 6mm bead. WIRES 4 and 5 together:1 x 6mm bead. WIRE 6: 1 x 6mm bead. |

WIRE 1: 5 x 3mm purple beads. WIRE 2: 5 x 3mm black beads. WIRE 3: 5 x 3mm purple beads. |

WIRE 4: 5 x 3mm black beads. WIRE 5: 5 x 3mm purple beads. WIRE 6: 5 x 3mm black beads. |

WIRE 2: 1 x 6mm bead. WIRES 1 and 4: 1 x 6mm bead. WIRES 3 and 6: 1 x 6mm bead. WIRE 5: 1 x 6mm bead. There are now four groups of wires. Always keep the purple beads at the top. |

Thread the four groups of wire with a 4-holed spacer bar. |

Repeat numbers 4 to 7 four times. At the end thread a 4-holed spreader. |
|
Attach the wires to the holes of the 4-holed spreader (see number 2). |
|
Attach a jump ring to each spreader at each end of the bracelet. |
|
Attach a side of a toggle clasp to each jump ring. |
