Magnetic beads are often thought to be made of hematite which a mineral form of iron oxide. Hematite in it's natural form has a very weak or sometimes no magnetic field rendering it useless for making beaded magnetic jewelry. Today most magnetic beads, including those offered for sale on our site, are made from ferrite magnets.


It is possible to shape these magnets into many shapes including round, cube and faceted tube. Faceted tube shaped magnetic beads are the most common shape because they lend themselves to making lariat or wrap style beaded magnetic jewelry. Magnetic beads are considered by some to have healing properties.


We search the world to find overstock beads which we are able to offer to you at prices that are lower than wholesale. Unlike wholesale bead sites or wholesale bead stores we have no minimum order.
