Gemstone is an encompassing word used to describe a wide variety of minerals used for beaded jewelry and adornment. Technically Lapis Lazuli is a rock, and Amber is an organic material, but often they are still referred to as Gemstones.
Gemstones can be classified as either precious or semi-precious and the gemstone beads we offer for sale on this site will fall into the semi-precious gemstone beads category. Gemstone beads are often treated to enhance durability and/or color and we will mention this in the description.

At any wholesale bead store or site you will need to purchase large quantities in order to qualify for wholesale prices. Our prices are most often lower than any you will find anywhere and we have no minimum order, but remember stocks are often limited.
