Fire Polish Beads

Fire Polish beads start out as regular round crystal glass beads. Similar to diamonds, they are cut are cut in a fashion that creates many sides or faces which causes them to brilliantly reflect light and have a high shine. The final step in the process is to heat the beads in an oven until the glass softens and cools with a smooth finish - hence the name "Fire Polish".
Czech fire polish beads are slightly oval in shape and most commonly have between 18 - 96 facets depending on the size and style. Chinese fire polish beads are rounder and most have 32 facets - they are modeled after the popular Swarovski 5000 round faceted bead.
These beads come in a variety of sizes, shapes, colors and finishes. AB (Aurora Borealis) beads have a special reflective finish applied which gives them added sparkle.
We sell manufacturer overruns and overstocks therefore our prices are lower than wholesale. Popular beads sell out quickly and might never be restocked.
